Frequently Asked Questions

What is Recruitment?
Recruitment is an organized series of informal parties that allows you to learn more about the Greek system. It is a wonderful opportunity for you to meet new people and make new friends on campus.
What should I expect during Recruitment?
During recruitment, each girl will be assigned a group and a group counselor. This group counselor will take you from house to house each day so that you can familiarize yourself with each sorority. Throughout the week, you will spend more time with the sisters learning about their chapter's history, their activities on campus, watching skits, and participating in various philanthropic activities.
What is a Legacy?
A legacy of a sorority is a woman whose mother, sister or grandmother belonged to any chapter of that sorority.
What is a Recruitment Information Form?
A Recruitment Information Form is simply a personal letter of reference provided by an alumna of a sorority to the chapter on the campus of your choice. These letters are not necessary; it is just a way for you to be introduced to the sorority before recruitment begins.
