Academics
Academics are our highest priority. For the Spring 2009 semester, our chapter maintained an overall GPA of 3.31.
The chapter recognizes its members for high GPAs by giving scholarship money each semester. These scholarships are provided by our local alumni chapter. Members can also earn scholarships from Delta Zeta’s National Foundation.
Delta Zeta maintains good relations with the faculty members at the university by hosting Dessert with DZ each semester. This is an opportunity for our members to interact with their professors outside of the classroom.
Our new members are required to do study hall hours each week to help with the transition from high school to college life. Each new member must complete 8 hours of study hall per week.
