With almost 90 years at the Capstone, the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Delta Zeta, here at The University of Alabama, is one of the largest Delta Zeta chapters, and consistently receives awards for excellence from our national organization... and to that we say "Roll Tide!"
Enjoying 110 years of sisterhood, Delta Zeta is one the largest of the 26 National Panhellenic Council (NPC) sororities with 160 Chapters in the United States and Canada. Over 200 alumnae chapters offer continuing association in 49 states, including Hawaii as well as the United Kingdom and Canada. Delta Zeta has over 220,000 initiated members and at any given time, Delta Zeta has more than 12,000 undergraduate members.

The values of friendship, service, leadership, and truth are the cornerstones of Delta Zeta. Our Alpha Gamma Chapter members and Alumnae experience all of these as apart of daily life.
At The University of Alabama, the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Delta Zeta is a member of Panhellenic. The Panhellenic Council is the largest women’s organization on campus. It is the governing body of the sixteen National Panhellenic Conference sororities and one associate member sorority. The Panhellenic Council promotes excellence in academics, community and campus involvement, and sisterhood.
